Everyone Can Help Through Donations of Gently Used Books, Books on CD, Music CDs and DVDs
All donations dropped off at the Library are made to the Library. Those items that the Library cannot use or do not want to add to the Library's collection are donated to the Friends of the Library. The Friends always need donations of books, books on CD, Music CDs, and DVDs for upcoming sale events. Donations may be dropped off at the Library and placed just inside the staff entrance, Door #4, on the Sixth Street side of the building or in the donation box just inside the main entrance, Door #1, on Fifth Street. Staff at the Circulation Desk in the main lobby, if requested, will issue receipts.
The Friends are unable to accept:
Readers Digest Condensed books
Textbooks more than 10 years old
Travel books more than 3 years old
National Geographic Magazines
Moldy or musty books
Books that have been chewed
Books that are wet
